why you should get the warranty, something funny, and something cute

The iPad started acting funny about a week ago.  Within 24 hours I was at Mac Authority, but they don't service iPads.  I had no idea!  I finally made it to the Apple store today and was told I needed an appointment for service issues.  Again, I had no idea.  They were able to give me an open appointment slot and I had to wander the mall for only 30 minutes.  After messing around with the iPad for awhile, the Apple Genius guy said he couldn't find a remedy to the problem and handed me a new iPad.  Thanks Apple Care!  If I ever need a second husband, I might just marry Apple. 

Have you seen the episode of The Big Bang Theory where Leonard wears a blue Apple shirt and poses as a Apple Genius at the Apple store in order to pick up girls?  I thought that was funny.

When I returned from the Apple store, the new iPad had some clear plastic wrapping  and Ziggy asked why the people at the store had put a bandage on the iPad.  I thought that was cute.  (I am sad to admit that Ziggy seems to have an iPad addiction.  I found it a bit of a relief while the iPad was not working.)
