about me

I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my husband (Esposo), son (Ziggy), and two daughters (Goldie and Elida).  Originally from Maryland, I attended Sweet Briar College in Virginia and then moved to Tennessee.  Since then I have taught students of all ages in Montessori classrooms, taught English as a Second Language to adults, attended graduate school, and done a variety of freelance writing.  Esposo is from Honduras and we are raising Ziggy, Goldie, and Elida bilingually in our small (but cozy) fixer-upper.  I enjoy reading in the bathtub, crafts, sewing, photography, eating, gardening, green living, movies, and popular culture.
